Two police in Abuja have been caught harassing commuter under guise of working at a check point to extort money from them.
It was reportedly said that officers stopped a vehicle carrying passengers in the area, popularly known called Ali brothers, close to the GSM village.
One of the officers was described to have been wearing a cardigan and the other was wearing a uniform bearing the name, Mohammed Azeh.
It was reported that the officers asked the driver to open the boot of the car and display the contents for them to see.
The driver complied and brought out electrical wires, as well as television set.
The federal capital territory police command, Manzah Anjuguri, who was contacted after the incident occurred, said the matter would be investigated.
He also said the officers will be detected and punished.These police officers were also known for delaying people for hours and collecting money.
