It was a shocking case recently as an auxiliary nurse, Oyekanmi, pulled off the hands of a new baby while trying to deliver the pregnant mum in labour.
It was reportedly said that the pregnant woman, Adeola, has been taken to Onyekanmi's residence in the Odogunyan, Ikorodu of Lagos on Saturday, December 24th, when she went into labour.It was attempting to force the baby out that the nurse pulled off the baby's arm.Is this stupidity? or carelessness?. When she noticed that things were out of control she advised that the child be taken to Ikorodu General Hospital, where the dead child was finally recovered.
Doctors at the hospital were reported to have queried the baby's parents on what truly transpired until they opened up.
The hospital management have alerted the police to the incident.
However, she was arrested, having pulling off an innocent baby arm.Currently investigation is still on, since such is not normal.
