'WE'RE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ECONOMIC COUNTDOWN '

The Federal Government tells Nigerians they are not responsible for the economic countdown in Nigeria.

The Minister of budget and national planning,Udoma Udo Udoma , yesterday said the Buhari-led administration is not responsible for the current economic countdown.
Speaking to the state house correspondents at the  end of National Economic Council, NEC.
He said the Federal Government is a rescue team to the people and not the cause of the situation at hand.
He disclosed the part of the rescue measures the government intend to adopt to rescue and cut down the retinue of political aides, size of their convoy, local trips and foreign trips among them.
